Today seemed like a good day to broach a topic that’s been on my mind and in my heart as of late. I had a conversation the other day with a friend who recently returned from Europe and was feeling disheartened about the state of our country after experiencing community and connection there. It is no coincidence that there are presently more light workers on the planet than every before and that there have been so many astrological events and energy shifts taking place. Things are changing big time! There is major space holding and healing to be done on a global level. None of us are immune to what is taking place, and we can either embrace or resist.
I recently went on a retreat in which on of the teachers kept using the quote “we are here to walk each other home”. This simple quote is such a beautiful reminder of what we are up to during our time here on earth. Today we honor those who died serving our country. In their way, they were doing what they came here to do to help walk the rest of us home. They stepped up and served in a way greater than just serving themselves. What a great day to remember this for ourselves. Society is changed. We are more disconnected than ever, and we have forgotten that we are all one and that we are not separate from those we honor, and that we too are here to share our gifts and serve one another in this beautiful act of walking each other home.
This starts with our own inner work of remembering our child of the universe status, and falling back in love with ourselves, we remember our connection to all that is, and we fall back in love with life itself. The awe and beauty of all that is. The miracle that is this experience.
So, on this day of remembrance of those beautiful beings who have come and gone and served a purpose greater than them selves, lets honor them but stepping up our game. By showing up for one another, for looking out for one another, and for being each other’s companions and guides on this journey we call life. We came here to connect, to love, and to feel deeply.
At a loss for how to start?
Here’s a few ideas you can do today:
Tell someone you love them
Do something for someone without any expectation for return
Do something loving for yourself
Listen to and talk with someone that has different views than you.
Give someone your full attention allowing them to be fully seen and heard.
Give someone a hug
Soul gaze with a loved one
Hug a tree
Make someone laugh
Ect… The list is endless!
Remember, love, choose joy, follow bliss and deep gratitude to you for helping walk me home.
Blessings and Love,
