How do we show up in the world? We are all made of energy, and so, we are constantly sharing and exchanging our energy with those around us. This can be fantastic, but we’ve all experienced the energy vampire. The person who is resonating at such a low vibration that it actually drains us. I learned the term Glowing in a class I took late last year. It’s the idea of showing up in our true authentic brightness and being so bright that remind those around us that they have the ability to glow too. When basking in someones presence raises our vibration instead of dragging us down. When others are attracted to our glow and are drawn to us. They may not even be able to understand why they are drawn, but there is just a quality of openness and light about this glowing. You may be thinking, ok, that’s great. How do I know if I’m glowing? Or how do I begin to glow? We choose to show up in the world, so we recognize when we are in the glow. In your interactions with others are you reactionary? Do you let them bring you down to their level? Or are you the shining light of love you wish to see in the world? To glow, we must do our own work around self-love, forgiveness, and of being conscious beings. Remembering that we are spiritual beings having a human experience and that we chose to come here to share our beautifully unique gifts with the world. The glow comes from the inside out, so the work is in loving and accepting your perfectly imperfect self for exactly who you are in every moment. You are always perfect, whole and complete. Once you begin to tap into this and remember that it is the truth, then you start to glow. When you love yourself so much that you know that everything you need is already within you, you start to glow. Hanging out with those you know who glow, makes you glow brighter because you are radiating at the same vibrational frequency. Spending time in nature, or doing things that you love that make you feel that inner wellspring of joy, will help you glow. It doesn’t have to be big deal, the capacity to glow resides within every single being. All we need to do is remember. The glow is contagious, the glow in others recognizes the glow in you and like a wild fire catches and spreads. It may not be easy, but it is possible, and the more we each glow, the more light we shine into the world dispelling the darkness. So join me, let’s spread the light and GLOW!
